1. What is a gift card?

  • Gift card is a pre-paid card by a corporate for their employees / channel partners.

2. Is Lifafa co-branded YES Bank gift card on Rupay platform?

  • YES Bank issues Gift Card on Rupay platform

3. What are the features of gift card?

  • Gift Card is non-reloadable
  • Gift Card can be used at any merchant outlet/E-commerce websites across India
  • Cash out - ATM withdrawal, balance transfer to other account, refund is not allowed
  • Card can be used in India only

4. What is the minimum load value on the gift card ?

  • Minimum load value: INR 500/-

5. What is the maximum load value on the gift card ?

  • Maximum load value: INR 10000/-

6. Can branch accept cash to activate gift cards?

  • Branch cannot accept cash to load the Gift Cards. Cardholder will need to connect with their corporate SPOC for details.

7. What are the modes through which Gift Card can be funded?

  • Funding can be done only through NEFT/RTGS/Cheque or Bank account transfers.

8. Is cash withdrawal allowed on Gift Card?

  • Cash withdrawals are not allowed on Gift Card.

9. How to check balance on Gift Card?

  • There are 4 following ways to check balance on gift card
    • Easiest way for customer is to call the Yes Bank contact center at 18001035485, validate himself/ herself and check the card balance
    • Call the Lifafa Care at 98202-82800, validate himself/ herself and check the card balance
    • Write e-mail to “” for card balance
    • Customer can check the transaction and balance details by logging into

10. What is validity of the card?

  • Gift Card is valid for 1 year from the date mentioned on the welcome kit.

11. Is surcharge applicable on Gift Card?

  • Yes, surcharge is applicable on Gift Cards if used at fuel pumps.

12. Are any service charges applicable on the Gift Card?

  • Yes Bank or Lifafa does not levy any charges for performing transactions. Service charges are levied by merchants. (E.g. IRCTC etc).


13. What should I do if I have lost my card?

  • Customer should report the loss of card and get the card blocked immediately by:
    • Making a call to Lifafa Care at +91-98202-82800
    • Writing email to
    • Post verification, Lifafa will issue a new card in lieu of lost card and balance on card will be transferred from old card. There is a nominal card replacement fee of INR 199+GST applicable for issuance of new card.

14. Customer wants to refund his/her card?

  • Gift Cards cannot be encashed by card holders.
  • For active & expired cards, refund of card balance shall not be permitted, balance can be transferred from one card to another only in case of lost / damaged cards.
  • Customer can place request for transfer of funds from original card to new card post submission of old card and completion of verification.
  • Card Holder is solely responsible for the transactions on his/her card

15. Are Gift Cards PIN enabled?

  • PIN is mandatory to perform transactions using Yes Bank Gift Cards.

16. Customer needs card statement?

  • User needs to call Lifafa Care for statement related queries. Post authentication,statement will be sent on registered email address of the user
